For more than a century, Carbone Savoie has been a French flagship of carbon and synthetic graphite design and manufacture, supplying a variety of high-end applications. Over the years Carbone Savoie has built up exceptional expertise with which it serves a demanding clientèle. Its products, and in particular its cathodes developed for aluminium manufacturers, are unanimously considered the most technologically advanced on the market. Carbone Savoie now exports 95% of its sales revenue to the four corners of the globe. Its Research and Development staff work in collaboration with renowned clients to develop the next generation of synthetic graphite products, particularly speciality graphites and graphite powders which are mainly used in electric lithium-ion batteries.

TWO PRODUCTION PLANTS. ONE R&D CENTRE:

Carbone Savoie’s two production plants are known for their specialist skills. We export our products from these plants in Vénissieux and Notre-Dame-de-Briançon and build partnerships throughout the world. Thanks to our Research and Development centre and our expertise, Carbone Savoie is able to offer innovative solutions, meeting performance and energy efficiency challenges, in partnership with our clients.
